Dear Debbie,

I wanted to express my sincere appreciation to you for serving as Chairperson for Centennial’s annual talent show.  Your organizational skills and attention to detail made this year’s show a very successful production, one that will be remembered for a long time.

Communication is a key ingredient when planning any event.  You demonstrated the importance of communication from the very early planning stages.  The information packets were distributed to the participants in a timely manner, with the rules and procedures clearly written.  The reminder sheet you sent home with the participants at dress rehearsal clearly outlined what they needed to do on the night of the performance.  You also took the time to communicate to the volunteer parents what you needed from them and what the expectations were for the final production.  All of these things contributed to the success of the show.

The efficiency in which you ran the audition, practice, dress rehearsal, and final production was very impressive and did not go unnoticed.  You are to be commended for your efforts and willingness to undertake the challenge of organizing more than 50 kids, their music, and their acts into a well run, well organized family event.

Thank you so much for everything you did to make Centennial’s “Explosion of Talent” show a fun, enjoyable evening for all of the participants, and for the friends and families that attended.
